After the Icon
After the Icon first began in celebration of what I had mistakenly believed to be a boastful Canadian identifer, became instead a collection chronicling a much darker personal transformation.
Wallflowers
Transformed garments and clothing forms reveal their underlying stories and memories. Made out of Japanese gampi paper, the iconic shapes of suit jackets, vests and shirts trigger recollections of events filled with expectation and loss.
